Language and image spiral, spill, and flow from various points to suggest a human figure, a tree, distant hills. Moons like black holes, redwood bark the color of stained glass, ropes of hair, strokes of lightning, animate these drawings. I have chosen tints, lines, and shapes, that are evocative of the northern California landscape at this time of year.
