Draw what you know. As a young art student, I put myself through college by waiting on customers at cafes and restaurants. I also liked to draw the customers and surround, when I had a chance to sit down with my journal. This piece was published in Barron Storey's WATCH magazine, in an issue with the theme, 'Working'.
